We have enjoyed the past 75 years, and we are looking forward to the future.
NortheastTel has seen many changes and innovations over the past 75 years, and this year has been no different. We continue to seek out ways to expand our coverage area and new services to improve our customers’ experiences.
Currently, our construction crew is working to add several blocks of residential streets in Mer Rouge to our existing network. We will continue to look into expanding our coverage to additional areas, and we are always excited when we can welcome new customers to our growing NortheastTel family. We are proud to not only provide fast and reliable service to our customers, but also to give them excellent customer service.
NortheastTel also began participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program. We have also expanded our participation in the Federal Lifeline Program, both of which assist in covering the cost of broadband internet services for qualifying households. Members of our staff have received training to assist customers in determining if they qualify for those programs and walking them through the application process.
We have also seen changes in our staff over the past year and are happy to welcome some new faces to our group. Mike Scott is the newest member of our I.T. department and Teresa Akers has joined our front office team. We are also excited to welcome Rick Darsey as our new General Manager. Rick has been with NortheastTel for over 10 years as the Director of Network Operations. He also spent time as Vice President of Network Operations with a national service provider before returning to NortheastTel to assume the role of General Manager last month.
As we look to the future, it is our goal to continue on the path of providing excellent customer service while providing services that meet and exceed the needs of those people in our service areas. We look forward to seeing what the next 75 years will bring!
